Here are some pictures of me flying over at Slide Mountain, Nevada. That's Lake Tahoe in the mountains, Washoe Lake in the valley and Carson city as seen from 16,000 msl.

		2.5 hours and 32 miles later I leave the mountains for the valley to land as the rotor from the west wind and the nasty looking clouds signal that the day is done.
